Anya, an assistant at an upscale event agency in St. Petersburg, leads a humble life supplemented by her access to high society. When she meets Serkan, a representative of a noble Ottoman family seeking a Russian wife, she sees an opportunity to improve her circumstances. However, she soon discovers that Serkan is a fraudster with a fake title and a collection of counterfeit jewelry. Anya steals one of his necklaces but realizes it's a replica. To maintain her swindle and secure her father's release from prison, she partners with Serkan, using their combined charm to dupe St. Petersburg's elite.
