Guilherme and Sofia grow up together in a Lisbon household that has preserved an older way of life. Guilherme, sheltered within this female-dominated environment, struggles with his unrequited love for his sister and her relationships with other boys, ultimately leading him to flee the home after their grandmother Clara's death. Guilherme seeks refuge at his father's house but finds himself increasingly isolated due to his father's immersive, almost autistic lifestyle.
