Maxim grappled with severing ties with his girlfriend, a jealous woman who doubled as a rare troublemaker. His well-meaning but futile attempts to please everyone backfired when he contrived an absurd excuse for their breakup. Despite his mother and sister's unsolicited advice, Maxim's harebrained scheme resulted in disastrous consequences.
