Diane discovers that her husband Hermann, a renowned publisher, plans to publish a book by Worms, Diane's former fiancé, which contains details about their relationship. This revelation causes tension in their marriage. Meanwhile, Hermann encounters his ex-girlfriend Anne at a cemetery, who he left for Diane years ago. Unbeknownst to them, Worms photographs the encounter and sends the picture to Diane, causing further strain between her and Hermann. Anne, suffering from psychological issues since their breakup, begins harassing Hermann.
