ストーリー
Mortelle randonnée follows aging private detective Beauvoir who is tasked with investigating Catherine Leiris, a beautiful woman suspected of killing and robbing her wealthy husbands on their wedding nights. Despite never confronting her directly, Beauvoir becomes intrigued by Catherine's resemblance to his unknown daughter. As he tails her, he feels an inexplicable connection to her, even believing they share telepathic communication. In one instance, Beauvoir inadvertently causes a bus accident that kills Catherine's artist husband, whom she genuinely loved. Afterwards, Catherine and a young accomplice named Betty resort to bank robbery for income. When Betty is shot during a robbery, Catherine is left alone again. She eventually settles into a quiet life as a waitress until Beauvoir reappears in her life.
