Hitler tests Himmler by ordering him to personally execute a Polish prisoner named Danuta. This act awakens a dark side in Himmler that leads him down a path of horrifying consequences for the world. The film then depicts Himmler's afterlife encounter with Erebus, the gatekeeper of Hell, implying his eternal suffering and punishment for his crimes.
