Shadow Dancer begins at an Los Angeles strip club where Narina, a provocative dancer, is the star attraction. During one of her performances with her friend Dee, the lights suddenly go out. When they come back on, Dee is found stabbed to death. All signs point to Narina as the culprit, but she herself believes she might be guilty due to a dark secret from her past - she has taken someone's life before.
