Trina McTeague, driven by a lifelong obsession, searches for a cache of family diamonds lost in the deserts of northern Mexico. The quest began when her ancestors died while carrying the precious gems. Trina's parents later joined the search but were mysteriously killed. Now grown, Trina continues alone despite warnings from Frank, an old family friend. Meanwhile, two American convicts recently escaped from a Matamoros prison and are heading towards Texas.
