ストーリー
The series begins with Spartacus, a Thracian warrior betrayed by Roman commander Claudius Glaber who had earlier persuaded him to fight against the Getae. Captured and sentenced to die in the arena as a gladiator, Spartacus's life is spared when he impresses the crowd, leading to his purchase by Batiatus for gladiatorial training at his ludus (school). Meanwhile, Spartacus's wife Sura has been enslaved after his capture. Promising to help find Sura if Spartacus proves himself in training, Batiatus becomes a mentor figure to him. As Spartacus gains success and popularity as a gladiator, he begins to uncover the treacherous politics and power struggles within Rome, all while driven by his desire for vengeance against Glaber and freedom from slavery.
