Vollmond follows Lara, who has been severely traumatized since childhood and struggles daily with her past. During a photo session, she meets Conrad, a writer recently released from prison, whom she instantly falls in love with. However, Lara's uncle Markus, aware of his niece's traumatic burden, resorts to drastic measures to save her, risking the potential loss of their relationship.
