Yasmine, an 18-year-old girl, returns home after not seeing her boyfriend for two weeks. She finds him changed by the Tunisian revolution of January 14, 2011, now politically committed. An argument ensues between them. Back at home, Yasmine overhears her brother talking to their authoritarian father who had stayed in Tunisia. He disapproves of his children participating in an upcoming demonstration.
