Jennifer Lynn Lopez, born July 24, 1969, known as J.Lo, is an American singer, songwriter, actress, dancer, and businesswoman. She began her career as a dancer on 'In Living Color' in 1991, then rose to fame as Selena in the film 'Selena' (1997). Lopez successfully transitioned into music with her debut album 'On the 6' (1999), and became the first woman to have a number-one album and film simultaneously in the U.S. with 'J.Lo' (2001) and 'The Wedding Planner'. She has since starred in numerous romantic comedies, released multiple albums, and judged reality shows like 'American Idol' and 'World of Dance'.
