Brigitte Bardot, born on September 28, 1934, started her acting career in France at age 17 with 'Manina, la fille sans voiles' (1952). She gained international fame and became a cultural icon following her role in Roger Vadim's 'And God Created Woman' (1956). Bardot acted in around 47 films, retired from the industry in 1973, and was awarded the Légion d'honneur in 1985. Post-retirement, she dedicated herself to animal rights activism.

Story

Paul Javal, a writer, agrees to adapt Homer's 'Odyssey' into a more commercial screenplay for director Fritz Lang and producer Jeremy Prokosch. Due to his tardiness in meeting Prokosch, Paul allows his wife Camille to drive him there instead. Believing that Paul intends to use her as an offering to secure better payment from the producer, Camille becomes resentful, leading to a deterioration of their relationship.
