Devrim Lingnau, born in 1998 to a German mother and Turkish father, is an actress known for her role as Empress Elisabeth (Sisi) in the television series 'Empress' (2022). While still at school, she attended dance academy at Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Mannheim. After graduating from high school in 2017, Lingnau landed her first leading role as Carmilla in a British romantic mystery drama. In 'Empress', Lingnau portrays Sisi, a young woman ahead of her time who rebels against the rigid rules of the 19th century and navigates the power struggles within the Habsburg court.

Svenja Jung, born May 28, 1993 in Weroth, Germany, grew up there and graduated high school in 2012 after which she spent six months in Australia working various jobs. Upon returning to Germany, she pursued acting, studying at the Juniorhouse in Cologne (2010-2012) and drama school in Koblenz (2011-2012). She appeared in smaller TV roles ('Heldt', 'Unter Uns') before landing her first leading role in 'Fucking Berlin' (2016), where she played Sonia, a mathematics student who engages in prostitution to support herself while navigating the complexities of her double life.
