概要

Patricia Cook, the 17-year-old heiress to a vast steel empire, led a life of privilege but craved love over fortune. Her father, James, disapproved of her tennis instructor, Jack, whom he suspected of pursuing Patricia for her wealth. To safeguard his daughter's inheritance, James arranged a marriage between Patricia and Harry, a race car driver, believing him more honest despite the apparent mercenary nature of their union.
