Dorman began modeling after she was discovered on the popcorn line at a local movie theater by a representative for a Tampa, Florida modeling agency. Samantha has not only modeled everything from skis to mink coats, but also has worked for the prestigious Wilhelmina Agency in New York and has appeared in several TV commercials. Dorman graced the cover of the July, 1991 issue of "Playboy." She was the Playmate of the Month in the September, 1991 issue of the famous men's magazine.
