Barbarian Queen (1985) begins with a Roman invasion of an Amazonian village. The king and most villagers are captured or killed. Three women survive: Amathea, her fiancé's sister, and two others. Vowing revenge, they embark on a journey to liberate their people. Upon reaching the Roman city, they team up with the local underground resistance to infiltrate the gladiatorial games, aiming to free the captives.
