ストーリー
City Baby follows Cloey, a carefree young woman living in Portland, Oregon. Her life undergoes significant changes when her best friend moves away to Brooklyn, her boyfriend's rock star lifestyle becomes increasingly demanding, and she faces pressure from her father (Daniel Baldwin) to find employment. These events force Cloey out of her comfort zone and into dealing with adult responsibilities and common people dilemmas. Throughout the film, Cloey navigates extreme love affairs, complicated friendships, and a struggle for independence while trying to figure out what's truly important in life.
概要
City Baby is a 2013 comedy-drama film directed by David F. Morgan that offers a glimpse into the youth culture of Portland, Oregon. The film centers around Cloey, a style-conscious young woman who embodies the ladder-climbing mentality of always reaching for bigger and better things in her relationships, career, and living situation. However, as her life takes unexpected turns, she begins to question this mindset and realizes that sometimes, what's right in front of us is just fine. The film features cameos from Portland musicians like Stephen Malkmus of Pavement, live performances by Glass Candy and Starfucker, and a soundtrack composed entirely of local bands, creating an authentic portrayal of the city's vibrant music scene.
