Anne-Marie Cadieux, born September 23, 1961, is an accomplished Canadian actress known for her versatility and intensity on stage, screen, and television. After graduating from the University of Ottawa with a BA in 1984, she began her career at the Théâtre de la Vieille 17 and National Arts Centre under André Brassard's direction. Her notable stage roles include Mademoiselle Julie, Electra, Elizabeth I in Marie Stuart (for which she won the prix Gascon-Roux for best actress), and Merteuil in Heiner Müller's Quartet.
