Julia Koschitz plays Franziska Dreyer, the devoted wife of Sebastian Pauli (played by Tom Wlaschiha), who is wrongfully convicted for murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. Story
The story unfolds through the eyes of Christian, an 18-year-old student in Hirtshafen, a small fishing town on the Baltic shore. The film begins with a minute's silence being observed at his grammar school, in memory of Stella Petersen, their young English teacher. Christian had a romantic relationship with Stella during a magical summer that ended abruptly and tragically.
