Anna Joan (she/they) is a multi-disciplinary artist from the Netherlands who works as a singer-songwriter, producer, and actress. Based in Amsterdam, she is an alumna of the Fontys Academy of the Arts, holding a B.A. from the Music-Theatre Conservatory and an M.A. from the Songwriting department.
Since graduating in 2020, Anna Joan has been actively releasing her own music under her personal label. Concurrently, she has built an acting résumé with roles in several Dutch and international film and television productions. Her credits include appearances in the Disney+ and National Geographic mini-series A Small Light (2023), the police procedural Flikken Rotterdam (2022), and the 2024 Dutch series Nemesis, where she plays the role of the activist Anouk. Anna Joan is known for seamlessly blending her musical and acting careers.
