Sonia Infante (born Sonia Angélica Infante López on February 2, 1944), a Mexican actress, started her career in 1960 following her father Ángel Infante and uncle Pedro into acting. She appeared in over 50 films during the 1960s, took a break to marry producer Gustavo Alatriste and raise their children, then returned to acting post-divorce in the mid-1980s. She starred in several telenovelas like 'El precio de la fama' and 'Un rostro en mi pasado', remarried actor Andrés García, and retired from acting in 2007. Infante died on July 16, 2019 due to cardiac arrest following paralysis.
