ストーリー
Franklin follows Correa, a retired boxer who worked for Bernal, a violent mobster and his former manager. After serving time in prison for a murder he didn't commit due to his loyalty, Correa decides to leave his criminal past behind and starts a relationship with Rosa, a prostitute victimized by Bernal's trafficking network and the corrupt police. They try to escape from Bernal's control while being pursued by unscrupulous promoters, criminals, and law enforcement officials all seeking a winning lottery ticket that they believe Correa possesses.
概要
Franklin is a crime thriller set in Argentina, directed by Lucas Vivo García Lagos. It explores the complex world of organized crime, police corruption, and human trafficking through the story of an ex-boxer trying to redeem himself and his relationship with a woman victimized by these systems. The film blurs the lines between right and wrong, making it difficult for characters to escape their past mistakes.
