Jennifer Anne Garner, born April 17, 1972 in Houston, Texas, raised in Charleston, West Virginia, attended Denison University for theater and acted as an understudy at Roundabout Theatre Company before her screen debut in Danielle Steel's 'Zoya' (1995). She gained prominence playing CIA officer Sydney Bristow in ABC's 'Alias' (2001-2006), earning a Golden Globe and four Emmy nominations. Her notable films include 'Daredevil', 'Elektra', 'Juno', 'Valentine's Day', 'The Invention of Lying', 'Dallas Buyers Club', and 'Yes Day'. Garner is also an activist for early childhood education, co-founder of organic baby food company Once Upon a Farm, and advocate against paparazzi harassment.

Story
Sydney Bristow begins working for SD-6, an alleged division of the CIA, as a college freshman. After several years and after confiding in her boyfriend about her secret life, Sydney discovers that SD-6 is actually part of a rogue international agency called the Alliance of Twelve aiming for world domination. Upon realizing this, Sydney becomes a double agent for the real CIA to dismantle SD-6. She works alongside her handler Michael Vaughn and her estranged father Jack Bristow, who are also secretly working against SD-6. Throughout the series, Sydney navigates various rival agents, terrorist groups, and traitors while trying to keep her secret life hidden from friends.
