Valeria Golino is an Italian actress and director. She is best known to English-language audiences for her roles in Rain Man, Big Top Pee-wee, and the two Hot Shots! movies, particularly the olive-in-the-belly-button scene. In addition to the awards David di Donatello, Silver Ribbon, Golden Ciak, and Italian Golden Globe, she is also one of the three actresses who has won the Best Actress award at the Venice Film Festival twice.

ストーリー
In 'La putain du roi', King Victor Amadeus II of Piedmont falls madly in love with Jeanne, the wife of one of his courtiers, upon their first meeting. Despite Jeanne's loyalty to her husband and resistance towards the king's advances, he becomes obsessed with her. The entire court pressures Jeanne to become the king's mistress to save the kingdom from his distracted rule. After much coercion, she agrees but makes it clear that she does not return his affections. Throughout the film, the king's passion for Jeanne grows, leading him to neglect his duties and even abandoning his troops during a war to nurse her through an illness. The film explores themes of power dynamics, obsession, and duty.
