She moved to New York City to pursue her dreams at age 17, where she attended NYU Tisch School of the Arts, via the Atlantic Theater Company and the Experimental Theater Wing, after which she studied under Uta Hagen's protege Deborah Hedwall and in Los Angeles with Sandra Seacat, John Markland, and Risa Bramon Garcia.
