Camélia Jordana, born Camélia Jordana Riad-Aliouane on 15 September 1992 in Toulon to French parents of Algerian descent, rose to fame as a pop singer and actress after participating in 'Nouvelle Star' (French version of Pop Idol) in 2009. She finished third but subsequently signed with Sony Music, releasing her debut album in 2010 which peaked at #9 on the French SNEP Album Chart. Her debut single 'Non Non Non (Écouter Barbara)' charted well in France, Belgium, and Switzerland. Jordana has also acted in films like 'Curiosa' (2019), was on the jury of the Semaine de la Critique at Cannes in 2021, and participated in a national memorial event for Paris attack victims in 2015.
