Katja Sallay is a German director, actress, and audiobook narrator, born in Budapest. She started her career behind the camera before studying acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles. Since then, she has appeared in numerous theatre, film, and television roles.


In recent years, she has also directed films, including her autobiographical debut feature, 5 Seasons – a journey (2022), which has received multiple festival awards. Sallay is also known for her work as a narrator for numerous audiobooks.
