Laura Weissmahr, known for her role as Júlia in the 2017 film 'Júlia', was born in Belgrade, Serbia. She attended architecture school and went to Berlin on an Erasmus grant at the age of 21. In Germany, she felt out of place and had to navigate a new culture while trying to make friends in a large city.
