Madalina Mariescu, born and raised in Romania, gained international recognition for her role as the lead character 'Katarina' in the 2010 action-thriller film 'Born to Raise Hell'. The movie follows a hardened Interpol agent assigned to an Eastern European task force targeting gun trafficking and drug running throughout the Balkans.
