Margarita Molfino is an Argentine theatre, film, and television actress born in Rafaela, Santa Fé, Argentina. She is also a trained dancer and performance artist with a Bachelor of Arts degree, focusing her work on the body and collaborative interdisciplinary projects.
Her career gained international recognition following her performance in the segment "Hasta que la muerte nos separe" in the Golden Globe-nominated and BAFTA-winning film Wild Tales (Relatos salvajes) in 2014. Molfino has since appeared in numerous other films, including La Flor (2018) and The Accused (Acusada) (2018).
In 2023, she starred as the character Norma in the critically acclaimed film The Delinquents (Los delincuentes), directed by Rodrigo Moreno. The film, which was presented in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival, explores themes of freedom and the questioning of routine life, where her character Norma is a free spirit in the countryside who meets one of the main characters. Molfino continues to be an active presence in Argentine cinema, with future projects announced for 2025.
