"Peter Paul Rubens, a Flemish artist renowned for his depictions of corpulent nude women, found an echo in Canadian actress Mary Beth Rubens' fame for displaying her flesh onscreen. Debuting in the R-rated slasher film 'Prom Night' (1980), Mary Beth, then a dark-haired ingenue, stole scenes with her bare breasts and rounded derriere alongside Jamie Lee Curtis. Despite 'Firebird 2015 A.D.'s (1981) critical failure, its topless starlet proved herself a standout.
