Nathalie Boutefeu starred as Sophie Moreau in 'La parenthèse interdite' (2005). Sophie, married to Christian, faces a devastating ordeal when their baby is diagnosed with a serious genetic disease. While Christian moves to Marseille to be closer to the sick child, Sophie, feeling guilty for transmitting the disease, retreats into her apartment to care for their older daughter. In the hospital where the ill child is being treated, Christian meets Virginie, a single mother whose daughter Noémie has an incurable disease.
