Paola Medina Espinoza is a Mexican actress best known for her lead role as Delgadina in the 2011 film Memories of My Melancholy Whores (Memoria de mis putas tristes), an adaptation of Gabriel García Márquez's final novella. Born around 1982, she is the niece of the renowned Mexican actress and activist Ofelia Medina.
Medina Espinoza began her screen career in the early 2000s with appearances in the television series Mujer, casos de la vida real (2002–2003) and the TV movie Transit (2005). Her breakout performance in Memories of My Melancholy Whores saw her portraying a young woman involved in a complex emotional relationship with a 90-year-old journalist. Since then, she has continued to work in Mexican cinema and television, with roles in projects such as the historical drama Huérfanos (2014), the series Monarca (2019), and more recently in films like Vergüenza (2024) and Woman Who Lives at the End of Time (2025).
