Åke och hans värld (1984) is about six-year-old Åke, who lives with his parents and sister Aja in a small Swedish town. His friends include Kalle Nubb, but he fears the janitor Bergström and his cousin Anne-Marie, who lives in the attic. The story also features strict Principal Godeman and religious Cobbler Ebenholtz.
