Born in Prague in 1992, Veronika Lapková is a versatile Czech actress and medical doctor. While she is professionally known by her birth name, she occasionally appears as Veronika Vysoká Lapková following her marriage in late 2024.
Her artistic journey began in Prague's amateur theater scene before she pursued professional training at the Academy of Performing Arts (DAMU). Remarkably, she completed her acting studies while simultaneously earning a medical degree from Charles University.
On screen, she gained international recognition for her role as Lída Beyerová in the crime series "The Pleasure Principle" (Zasada przyjemności). In her home country, she is a prominent figure on television, starring in the long-running medical drama Ordinace v růžové zahradě 2 as Dr. Valerie Vlčková and appearing in series like Stíny v mlze and Na vlnách Jadranu. In addition to her film and TV work, she is an active member of the National Theatre Brno (NdB).
