Known for roles in films such as 'After Hours', 'Beetlejuice', 'Home Alone', 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' and Christopher Guest's mockumentaries. She received a Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award at the Governor General's Performance Arts Awards in 2020, and won a Golden Globe in 2021 for her role in 'Schitt's Creek'.
